One day I found this old shirt in the attic and threw in the dye bath with madder.
This is the result!
You can imagine I don’t want to get rid of it any more!

This is the plant with which I dyed the shirt: madder. This plant yielded for centuries the deep red colour of the Turkish carpets. You can vary the tone playing with the immersion time and the chemical environment (we use only natural chemicals).
Our natural textile dyeing workshops involve eco-dyeing. We try to have as little environmental impact as possible.
